Tiffiany Vira Hope

October 11, 1983 — March 24, 2025

To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under Heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up which is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh. A time to mourn and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Tiffiany Alexis Gibbons, also known as Vira Tiffiany Hope was born on October 11, 1983 to Floretta Rose and Garfield Gibbons (deceased) in Brooklyn, New York. She departed peacefully on March 24, 2025 at the tender age of 41 years in Klamath Falls, Oregon, surrounded by family.

Tiffiany was raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Bethel Seventh Day Adventist School and Bishop Laughlin High School. She then pursued higher education and graduated from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Tiffiany later changed her name to Vira Tiffiany Hope. Vira worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield/ Anthem as a Project Manager. She was an avid learner and acquired many skills, including her work as a doula in upstate New York. She was also in the process of completing her doula/midwife certification in Oregon. Yet, her greatest accomplishment in life was her 5 beautiful children - Ivan, Syra, Dale, Katai (deceased) and Tiberius.

Vira was known to be very adventurous and strong spirited. While planning her move from New York to Oregon, she bought a school bus, transformed it into a traveling home and drove with her children cross-country to Oregon. She continuously demonstrated a steadfast strength to persevere over obstacles and challenges, including her biggest challenge -- breast cancer -- which she fought to the end.

As an Oregon resident, Vira truly felt at home in the Bly Mountains community and loved dwelling in the abundance of Oregon's nature. Vira was loved and respected by her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted daughter to her mother Floretta, a dedicated mother to her children -- the loves of her life, and also a loving companion to her partner Kyle Thomas Keith aka Junior.

She leaves to mourn, her mother Floretta Rose, her children Ivan, Syra, Dale, Tiberius; her partner Junior; her aunts Rosemarie Paul (Horace), Cheryl Rose, Camile Richards; her uncles Samuel Rose, Keith and Johnsley Gibbons; cousins - Curtis Paul (Romeo), Othniel Rose (Angel), Compton Paul (Erica), Yolanda Rose-Sarrett (Tony), Samuel Rose Jr. (Sophie), Chiome Paul-Frank, Latoya Rose, Melanie Rose, Tracy Rose, Kurt Rose, Lanessa Paul-Robertson (Ashton), Andre Donaldson, Ginger Rose, Theodore Rose; Rashley, Shinelle, Wayne and Tiffany Gibbons. Including additional close family members, The LaFleur's, Rose's, Sampson's, Gibbons', Edward's, Southwell's, Soloman's, Welcome's, Hinkson's, Frazer's, Floris', Rodney's, McRae's, Grimmond's and a host of other families too numerous to mention. Vira had a very supportive group of friends in Rick and Nancy Gamble, Eliza and Kelly Spearse, Christopher and Corbert, Ketzia Shafer, Josephene Flourence, Kevin, Laura and Donald, and many others.

In July 2023, Vira or as affectionally known to family, Tiffiany, traveled with her children to New York to spend quality time with her close cousins. This was a very fun and memorable occasion for everyone. The family spent quality time catching up, laughing and praying for healing, unbeknownst to everyone that this visit would be her last time with extended family.

Vira's warmth, energy, charisma and dedication to her family and friends will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to be in her presence. May her soul rest in peace.
