Shane Anthony Thornton

June 16, 1967 — October 13, 2024

Shane Anthony Thornton was born June 16th 1967 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to parents Carl B Thornton and Rina J “Nicky” Thornton. He passed away from a heart attack on Sunday October 13th 2024 at the age of 57. Shane is survived by his dear children Dallas, Riley and Shahaila, his sisters Monique A. Adams and Rainie A Gilford, his mother Nicky Thornton-Guerrero and Richard J Guerrero as well as the love and light of his life Brandee L. Osborne. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Emilior and Lucy Breton Van Groll and Ervin and Deane Thornton.

Shane graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas. He worked as an independent contractor and professional musician. Music was his passion, but he always made time for his love of animals and the great outdoors. He was destined to be a musician since he was a toddler, singing to his family at any chance and then growing up to become a true performer specializing in the acoustic guitar. He could fill any room he stepped into with love, laughter and happiness, whether it was a music gig, family get-together or hanging out with his friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 at the American Legion Hall, 228 N. 8th St. in Klamath Falls.
