Peggy Viola Halstead

Peggy Viola Allen Halstead, 81, passed away in Klamath Falls Monday March 28, 2022 at her home with her daughter Kristina at her side. Peggy was born March 7, 1941 in Myrtle Point, Oregon. She is a graduate of Grants Pass High School Class of 1959. Peggy enjoyed working with and riding Horses. At one point she owned a ranch where she bred Appaloosa's. Peggy also loved collecting antiques. Peggy was a great card player and loved a good game of Yahtzee. Peggy is survived by her four children: Richard Jon Diaz-Gonzalez, Kristina Loree Twiss, Marianna Karine Sunderlin and Michael Edward Okayama; her sister Linda Alvey; her two beloved poodles Itty and Wesson; five grandchildren Daniel, Kristina, Brandon, Cameron, and Sofia; and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Clyde Halstead.
