Margaret J. Wallenburn, 94, passed away in Klamath Falls, Ore. on Sept. 15, 2022.
Margaret was born Aug. 14, 1928 in Aberdeen, Wash. to Edward and Eva (Smith) Betsch. She married Almer G. Wallenburn in Reno, Nev. in 1949. Margaret volunteered with the Hospital Guild in Klamath Falls for 33 years. She and Almer were members of Zion Lutheran Church. Margaret was part of the church Guild for many, many years. Early in her life she worked for the Klamath Falls City Police as a clerk and meter maid, until she started a family. She always said she loved this job. Margaret was a loving and forgiving person. She had many friends and loved them all. Margaret lived in Klamath Falls for 78 years. She was involved in everything about her family. She loved the outdoors and the ocean and loved to sing.
Margaret had a heart of gold , and will be missed, but not forgotten. Heaven opened its gates and Jesus welcomed her in ! She will be a beautiful angel and watch over us from above. We love you , and try to make you proud of your family. God Bless you and may you rest in peace. Love You forever . P.S. Enjoy the family reunion in heaven , say hi to dad and all the family.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Renee Wallenburn of Klamath Falls, Michael and Wynette Wallenburn of Grants Pass; daughter, Patti Wallenburn of Klamath Falls; sister, Dorothy Wallenburn of Klamath Falls; grandchildren: Megan Gerney (Chad), Bethany Kinney (Mario), Seth Wallenburn (Kayla), Nicole Robinson (Curtis), Lindsay Rochelle (Jared) . great grandchildren: Marrissa Gerney, Emma Gerney, Jaxon Wallenburn, Rylan Wallenburn, Harmony Wallenburn, Milo Wallenburn, Jesiah Kinney, Clayton Robinson, and Braelyn Rochelle.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband in 2006 and a brother Charles. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Leo Wallenburn.
Memorial contributions may be made to High Desert Hospice, 2210 Shallock Ave., Klamath Falls, OR 97601.
Private family interment will take place at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
