Kathleen Ann Jensen

Kathleen (Katy) Jensen was born to William Henry and Katherine Ann (Conser) Stinson in Medford, Oregon July 26, 1925 and lived most of her life in the Rogue Valley area. She graduated from Medford High School in 1943 and worked as a telephone operator for four years after that. She wed Russell P. Jensen April 19, 1947 and was married for 64 years before he preceded her in death in October 2011. Katy and Russ owned and operated Russ Jensen Trucking until they retired in 1986 when they moved to their 80-acre property on East Antelope Road in Eagle Point. Katy continued to live there until she was 95 when her health declined. She moved to Klamath Falls to be closer to her son and passed away May 23, 2021. Katy is survived by her two children, Nancie Kaye Marlo of Van Vleck, Texas and Robert Russell Jensen (Cyndy) of Klamath Falls, 3 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother Edward (Buddy) Stinson of Roseburg. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Cascade Cremation & Burial, Klamath Falls, is assisting the family.
