June Sandusky, 99, passed away in Klamath Falls on June 4, 2022. She was born July 22, 1922 in Santa Rosa, Calif. to Francis and Ida Quigley. Following high school, June entered the US Navy Seabees where she served three years. She married Charles L. Sandusky on June 1, 1947 in Santa Rosa, Calif. They moved to Klamath Falls in 1953. June worked for 13 years as a clerk at the Klamath Falls Hallmark store in the old Jefferson Square Mall. She loved to bowl and won many trophies and made many friends in the local bowling leagues. She also liked to garden. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Alyce Sandusky, Ron and Jeanne Sandusky; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Tom Dorigan, all of Klamath Falls; grandchildren and their spouses, Kenny and Hope Sandusky of Alturas, Calif., Rusty and Pam Sandusky of Beaverton, Ore., Travis and Alice Sandusky of Klamath Falls, Tyann and Terrill Roper of Central Point, Ore., great grandchildren, Luke, Cody, Tyler, Avery, Trevin, Treycen and Tavian; brother, Bob Quigley of Gooding, Idaho. June was preceded in death by her husband in 2002 and her brother, Francis Quigley, in 2019. A committal service with military honors will be at 3:00pm on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Rd. in Eagle Point.
