Joseph W. Stickel, Sr.

Joseph W. Stickel, Sr., 79, passed away at his home in Klamath Falls on January 3, 2023.

He was born April 27, 1943 in Frenchtown, New Jersey to Harold and Rena (Bidwell) Stickel. He spent his childhood there and in San Diego, Calif. Before moving to Oregon when he was in his early 20’s. Following his military service, Joseph began what would be a 60-year career as a welder and fabricator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his companion of 29 years, Dottie Lewis of Klamath Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph, Jr. and Brenda Stickel of Klamath Falls; brother, Harold Stickel; sisters, Carol Rick, Debra Peterson and Linda Aspinau; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Harold Stickel, Rena Bidwell, Lester Stickel and Linda Stickel.
