Frances Earlene Wright joined the Lord on December 3, 2024. She was 86 years old. Earlene was born June 24, 1938 to Richard and Virginia Martyr in Bisbee, Arizona. Earlene was 7 years old when the family moved to Oregon. Shortly after moving to Oregon her sister Diane was born. Earlene graduated from Henley High School in 1956. Two years later she met and married Richard Wright. Together they spent 54 years as husband and wife. In July 1959 their son Dale was born, followed by their daughter DeAnna in February 1962. Earlene volunteered for many things. She used to help during elections at Sterns Elementary School. She did this for many years. She also volunteered with her friend Joyce Miller at the Salvation Army. They spent countless days and hours making Christmas baskets for families, along with food baskets. The pair along with friends did this for many years. Later finding the time for a career in taxes, working for H&R Block, as a tax preparer and also as a teacher.
Earlene is survived by her son Dale Wright, Grandson; Seth Wright, Granddaughter; Jessica (Mike) Blevins, great grandsons; Mitchell, Matthew and Myles, along with 2 great great grandsons. Neices & Nephews and their families Cindy(Ernie) Wigget, Carssia and Travis, Andrea (Nathan) Leao, Mackenzie, Jackie, Aubrey and Kennedy. Cousins; Bobby and Donna, along with many more relatives throughout the country.
Earlene is preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Mary Elenor Martyr, Diane & Gary Shill, Husband Richard Wright, Daughter DeAnna, Grandson Brian, Nephew, Steve, cousins; Melvin and Jerry, and special friends; Joyce and Jerry Miller.
Her family would like to express their gratitude to Klamath Hospice, her caregiver, Darla, and all family and friends for their prayers.
A Celebration of life is planned for December 14, 2024, 11:00. at Thrive Church, reception to follow.
