Fern Moore

Fern Margaret Moore (Benedict), 101-went to her heavenly resting place early Wednesday morning, October 13th,2021. Fern was born December 17, 1919 in Nunn Colorado; she was one of seven children. As a child they moved to Yakima,Washington and in 1932 moved to Poe Valley, Oregon. In 1956 the family moved to Klamath Falls. Klamath Falls has been her home for the last 65 years. Fern Married Lewis Moore November 1, 1940, in Reno Nevada. They had three children-Tom, Karen & Jerry. She enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her flower and vegetable garden.She also enjoyed arts and crafts and always had a project she was working on. She is survived by her son, Tom Moore, daugher,Karen Kosha, son-in-law Ron Kosha, daughter-in-law Diana Moore, her sisters Effie Carpenter and May Coppinger. Along with Grandchildren: Teresa Carpenter (Moore), Ray Moore, Verna Peterson, Kristine Jorgenson, Jeanny Smith, Gerri Butner, Mike Moore, Shannon Strubhar, Shawna Herrera, Janeen Moore and several great grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her husband Lewis Moore and her son Jerry Moore. There will be a celebration of life service Saturday October 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Shasta Way Christian Church, 5835 Shasta Way, Klamath Falls, Oregon 97601
