Ethel Price, 96, passed away at her home in Keno, Ore. on December 12, 2020. Ethel was born Feb. 29, 1924 in Superior, Wis. to Archie and Alice (Clark) Ford. She married John W. Price on Oct. 31, 1941. Ethel worked as a supervising cook for Malheur Hospital in Nyssa, Ore. for 25 years. She and John moved to Klamath Falls in 1986 where Ethel worked as an aide and cook's helper at Keno Elementary School. Ethel enjoyed cooking, quilting, working in her yard, playing Mrs. Claus while her husband, John, played Santa Claus at the Malheur Hospital and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. John and Ethel were also members of the First Church of God in Klamath Falls. Survivors include her children, Gary Price and his wife Ida of Keno, Ore., Connie Windom and her husband, Jesse of Ontario, Ore., John Price, Jr. of Payette, Ida., Linda Cook of Klamath Falls, Cindy Cook and her husband Arlen of Nyssa, Ore., Josiah Price of Keno, Ore., John Price and his wife, Sandy of Rock Springs, Wyo.; fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, great grandchild John Owen Price, brothers, Charles, Edward and Ralph Ford; sisters, Edith Brown, Emma Burger and Dora Smith. Memorial contributions may be made in Ethel’s memory to the High Desert Hospice Foundation, 2210 Shallock Ave., Klamath Falls, OR 97601. Private interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens in Klamath Falls. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. Cascade Cremation & Burial is assisting the family.
