Denise "Dede" Lynnette Montes

Denise "Dede" Lynnette Montes, 55, passed away at her home in Chemult, OR March 10, 2022. Dede was born in South Lake Tahoe, CA to Darrell and Diana Walters. She spent most of her life in Chemult Oregon. Dede was a logger for many years. She enjoyed riding her quad in the forest, agate hunting, and mushroom picking. She was a mountain woman extraordinaire. She loved outdoor life, loved her family and friends and traveling, most recently to the Oregon coast. Dede is survived by her mother, Diana Walters of Chemult, OR Brothers; Darrell Lynn (Valerie) Walters of Carson City, NV; David (Ursula) Walters of Klamath Falls, OR; Sister Donnette (Tim) Allen of North Carolina. Nephews; Dustin Walters, Christopher Allen; Chase Walters. Nieces; Heather Ainsworth, Felisha Morelos, Raechel Allen and Ashley Black. She is preceded in death by her father, Darrell Lee Walters; sister, Dena Benson; niece, Heidi Walters and nephew Darrell Joshua “D.J.” Walters. No services are planned at this time.
