Carol Winter

Carol Joanne Winter, 81, passed away at her home in Klamath Falls on May 15, 2021. She was born Dec. 5, 1939 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to Albert and Gladys Stone. Carol was a homemaker most of her life. She married Leland R. Winter in Reno, Nev. in 2006. Carol enjoyed painting, crocheting and her pet parakeet and dog. Survivors include her daughter, Lynette Waterbury of Klamath Falls; son, Rob Leeling of Oregon; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; siblings, Jackie Cooper and her husband, Wayne, Alice Nygren and her husband, Jerry, Bobby Stone, Dave Stone and his wife, Karen. Carol was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Lynn Rathbun, sisters, Betty, Dorothy and Vicki, brothers, Billey, Mickey and Buddy. Cascade Cremation & Burial is assisting the family.
