It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce that on March 3, 2025, Amy Wilson was called home to be with the Lord at the young age of 48. Amy was a beloved and adoring daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend who is dearly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
On October 2, 1976, in Klamath Falls, OR, Benjamin "Mooch" and Marie welcomed their beautiful red-headed baby girl and knew she was destined for great things and had a heart of gold.
Amy was raised in Klamath Falls, OR and attended grade school and high school locally. She graduated from Mazama High School and went on to attend Klamath Community College, pursuing a career in the medical field.
Amy was influenced by her large family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others and she incorporated that into motherhood.
Amy became a momma to Tyler on May 31, 1997, followed by Benjamin on March 21, 2003. Being a momma to her two boys was Amy's absolute favorite thing in the world and her greatest accomplishment. She loved her boys fiercely and there was never a question of her devotion.
On July 17, 2004, Amy married the love of her life and soulmate, Shiloh, in Lake Tahoe, NV in front of their family and closest friends. The setting was perfect, and she was a stunning bride. She could not wait to see what the future held for their family. Amy and Shiloh made their home in Klamath Falls after honeymooning at their favorite place - Disneyland.
On February 18, 2020, Amy became a proud grandma to her first grandchild when Tyler and Angelina welcomed baby Tavian. From this moment forward she was known as "Grandma Amy" by not just Tavian, but by everyone around her. On January 30, 2024, all was right in the world because she finally got rid of the "boy mom" status and the baby girl she had been longing for arrived - granddaughter Astara. These grandbabies had Grandma Amy's whole heart. The pride that you saw in her eyes when the grandbabies were around, or when she talked about them was extraordinary.
On January 1, 2025, Amy was promoted to a General Foreman for Trees LLC, and she was passionate, and enthusiastic about her career. This was an accomplishment that she strived for, and she worked hard for this achievement. Her dedication to her work did not go unnoticed.
In February 2025, Grandma Amy got to take the whole family to Disneyland where they spent an amazing week at the happiest place on earth for the first time together.
Amy loved spending time with family and friends and her laugh was infectious. She enjoyed Disneyland, camping, sitting around a campfire visiting, side by side rides, blitz and other card games and vacations with family. She would do anything for anyone - so long as it didn't involve hugs or onions. Amy was in the prime of her life and planning exciting and fun family adventures to make more cherished memories.
Amy is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Shiloh; children Tyler (Angelina) and Benjamin; grandchildren Tavian and Astara; parents, Benjamin "Mooch" and Marie; sister, Agnes; nieces, Cassidy and Ellida; nephew, Kyle; mother-in-law, Lydia and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her nephew, Harrison Jeffery Mahan and her father-in-law, Clifford Wilson.
We know we can't have you but we're happy knowing that the angels have you back. Until we meet again...rest easy, beautiful.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this trying time.
Amy's Celebration of Life will be held on March 29, 2025, at Mazama High School at 1:00 pm. Our favorite memories of Amy will be shared with family and friends, and we would love to hear yours.
