Mamie Prochaska

Mamie Lee (Smith) Prochaska, 88, passed away at her home in Klamath Falls on September 25, 2020. Mamie was born Jan. 14, 1932 in Battle Creek, Nebr. to Danial and Gertrude (Schacher) Smith. She married Virgil Prochaska in Battle Creek on January 19, 1952. They moved to Lakeview Terrace, Calif. where they lived 35 years until retiring to Klamath Falls in 1994. Mamie enjoyed camping, fishing, computer games and car rides. She especially liked spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mamie and Virgil were members of Keno Open Bible Church. Survivors include her children, Deborah Bjorklund and her husband, Rick of Pahrump, Nev., Randall Prochaska of Little Rock, Calif., Mark Prochaska and his wife, Shelley of Klamath Falls, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil. Private family inurnment will be at Keno Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at www.cascadecremations.com.
