Ladean Pearl Lough

LaDean Pearl Lough, 95, passed away in Klamath Falls on October 1, 2022.


LaDean was born November 23, 1926 in Culver, Ore. to Jesse and Theresa (Hinton) Gilliland. She grew up in Eastern Oregon living most of her childhood in Eastern Oregon near and in Lakeview. She graduated from high school in Sweet Home, Oregon. LaDean married Warren Lough on January 2, 1945 in Crescent, Ore. They moved to Chiloquin in 1955, before settling in Klamath Falls in 1991. LaDean was a hard working wonderful mother. LaDean worked as a beautician and later as court clerk for the Klamath Justice Court. She and Warren were also members of Bible Baptist Church - one of the highlights of LaDean’s life was being baptized. She also enjoyed pinochle at least three times a week with her best friends, arts and crafts, sewing and traveling - including several winters in Apache Junction, Arizona. LaDean was a member of the Order of the Easter Star and previously served as president of the PTA.


Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Jim Bellet of Klamath Falls; son, Michael Lough of Klamath Falls, son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Lori Lough of Lewiston, Idaho and daughter, Melody Hardt of Klamath Falls; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, and her friend of 60 years Donna Maloney. LaDean was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Lough and brothers, Harold and Carl Gilliland.


Private family inurnment at Eternal Hills Memorial Park and celebration of life will be at a later date.
