Donagene Jermane

April 10, 1941 — December 27, 2022

Our family and friends lost a courageous woman on December 27, 2022.

Dona was someone who could brighten any day with her smile. She had such a warm and beautiful smile that just made you smile in return. No words needed to be spoken, her smile said it all.

She was a loving wife. She and her husband Rich were married for 55 years. They were truly best friends. One of their favorite things to do was to play golf. She and Rich also enjoyed many years as Snow Birds traveling to Arizona allowing them to golf in the winter and then in Klamath Falls in the Spring and Summer.

She was the best mother and friend to Candi and Eddie. Her children and grandchildren were very important to her and her absence in their lives will be deeply felt.

She was an avid gardener and her yard was always beautiful. She loved flowers of all kinds. The talent most appreciated by her family was her cooking. Nothing tasted better than when she made it. Her grandchildren always marveled at her ability to make anything taste wonderful even a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.

She was the center of so many wonderful memories with friends and family. She and Rich hosted big Thanksgivings where family and friends from all over would come to stay for the holiday week. She will be remembered for the comfort and warmth of their home.

She retired from the Klamath County School District after many years of service as the Superintendents Secretary. She carried with her years of friendships with her co-workers.

There is so much more that can be said about what an incredible woman Dona was and any one who knew her has a special memory of her and how special she was.

Rich lovingly cared for Dona as the illness progressed until her last breath was taken at their home with he and her children by her side.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Rich, daughter and son in law Candi and Roy Renn and son Ed Kane as well as her Grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother and sister in law and so many other dear family and friends.
